Can someone who is well versed in SEO or google page rankings explain to me why a google search of the term “Honor Academy” does not display my blog? I’ve mentioned those keywords a ton, plus its in the URL. This blog doesn’t register for those search terms, while intern blogs who only mention it once do. What gives?

Google calculates its page ranks through links from other sites. The more sites that link to yours using keywords like “honor academy,” the higher your ranking. Also, the more popular the sites that link to yours, the higher your ranking.

Yeah, it basically just takes time and the linking of other sites to you. Another factor could be because you’re using Blogger and don’t have some of the control you’d have if you built your own site to boost some of your SEO stuff.

You only recently got to be the first Google hit for the terms “my teen mania experience” without quotes. These things take time. And clicks.

Tell you what, I’ll add a link to my blog sometime soon so that you get one more incoming link to this site — every little bit helps, right?

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I’m already on the first page for “Honor Academy cult” which is how a lot of people find the blog, so thats a start!

Isn’t if funny that when you search “Honor Academy” on google, that it automatically suggests the word “cult” to follow? haha!
