Thank you, Renae and ‘Anonymous’- those are priceless! I love how laughter shows the ridiculousness (is that a word?) of things we get way too uptight about.
Just heard a leadership speaker say that “In TV, there’s only two ways to be successful: Be flamboyant or be authentic…Unfortunately, Christians are usually regarded as ‘flamboyant.'” I almost groaned out loud. So all our well-intentioned, passionate, “powerful” ministry efforts come across as ludicrous. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather be authentic.September 10, 2010 1:15 PM
