Since Teen Mania has a history of lying about why people leave the organization, we may never know the answer to that question. Personally, I have a hard time imagining that Dave left willingly and voluntarily. He hasn’t announced his next steps and given the fact that he built a mansion across the street from Teen Mania (and in the middle of nowhere) one could surmise he planned on being at Teen Mania a long time.
There was also the talk about being at Teen Mania until our grandchildren joined the program.
At any rate, his house has actually been on the market since March. So make of that what you will.
For only $450,000 you can buy his house!

We can only speculate why Dave is leaving, but I suspect RA is correct and he is being forced out in some effort at damage control. It is obvious that he had a good gig there. There is no place he can go where he can step into a position making the kind of money he is making now. Nobody with a wife and children would voluntarily let go of a salary like that without an offer already in hand unless he was being forced to do so.

Wow. this post and comments…..there are no words for the amount of hatred here, paticularly in the comments. I will say it before and I will say it again, RA had nothing to do with Dave or Jon’s resignation and neither did the RA community. Dave & Jon’s resignation was 100% voluntary and I emphatically disagree that Dave wouldn’t have left unless he was fired. For those of you that don’t really know him very well in recent years, he is a good man with a very humble heart and is truly passionate about the Lord. I have had the opportunity to keep in contact with him over the more recent years and I cannot speak for Jon as I haven’t talked to him for quite some time but Dave is a completely different person than he was when I was an intern 9 years ago.
Ultimately you are right that you will probably never really know why they left and all you can do is speculate but I can tell you it was completely voluntary and they are leaving with joy and peace. Now one can determine that the reason they are leaving is because of something higher up in the ministry that they disagree with which may be more accurate. You continue to paint David Hasz as a man of no conviction or morals or what have you, but I can tell you that in the past couple of years since this website came out, his heart has 100% been open to correction and he is someone that is deeply hurt by the actions of TM that have affected numerous alumni. Just because he does not express it the way that you all each individually want, does not mean that he is not repentant.
My recommendation would be that RA reaches out to Dave again after his final time at TM. Set up a coffee meeting to sit down and chat with no ulterior motives other than to get closure….you may be surprised by his actions/reactions after he no longer has to defend TM in every way shape and form.

I really hope this can be a sort of wake-up call for Dave Hasz–we all know that he has the charisma, etc. and he was more of a leader to most of us as interns that Ron Luce by far.
Honestly, I am glad to see him go because of my TM experience and my conversations with Dave where he was unwilling to accept any possible problem with the internship. I wish absolutely no harm on him, etc. and wish him success in whatever he does next, but I really pray that his future includes an attempt at restoration and restitution in regards to the evil he did on behalf of TM.

These impersonators need to stop!! someone continues to use our name and curse at people and threaten them and make statements and Accounts that are NOT us. So Please take action to stop these people, we Jeremy and Miranda Caverley do NOT use curse words at people and do not want to be involved in this. Please remove all comments that do NOT have our JMC Ministries logo next to it.

JMC, it’s totally understandable that you’d be upset at someone using your name, but getting upset and yelling at people who are NOT the one’s doing the impersonating does no good and only paints you in a poor light.
RA is very reasonable, I’m sure she’ll do what’s right, but you’d be much better served to stop flipping your lid. It doesn’t exactly paint your ministry in a favorable light for you to be losing your cool and speaking so unprofessionally straight out of the gate.
wow alot of stuff going on. Its been my experience that we are still suppose to pray for one another! If you who are spiritual see your brother fallen you are to pray and restore him.
Jeremy, do you really think immediately getting angry and threatening to take legal action against RA for people who commented on her site is better than cursing at people? As someone who doesn’t know you, and has no idea what JMC Ministries is, I can’t really say you’re improving on the image given by the impersonator.
Wow. this post and comments…..there are no words for the amount of hatred here, paticularly in the comments. I will say it before and I will say it again, RA had nothing to do with Dave or Jon’s resignation and neither did the RA community. Dave & Jon’s resignation was 100% voluntary and I emphatically disagree that Dave wouldn’t have left unless he was fired. For those of you that don’t really know him very well in recent years, he is a good man with a very humble heart and is truly passionate about the Lord. I have had the opportunity to keep in contact with him over the more recent years and I cannot speak for Jon as I haven’t talked to him for quite some time but Dave is a completely different person than he was when I was an intern 9 years ago.
Ultimately you are right that you will probably never really know why they left and all you can do is speculate but I can tell you it was completely voluntary and they are leaving with joy and peace. Now one can determine that the reason they are leaving is because of something higher up in the ministry that they disagree with which may be more accurate. You continue to paint David Hasz as a man of no conviction or morals or what have you, but I can tell you that in the past couple of years since this website came out, his heart has 100% been open to correction and he is someone that is deeply hurt by the actions of TM that have affected numerous alumni. Just because he does not express it the way that you all each individually want, does not mean that he is not repentant.
My recommendation would be that RA reaches out to Dave again after his final time at TM. Set up a coffee meeting to sit down and chat with no ulterior motives other than to get closure….you may be surprised by his actions/reactions after he no longer has to defend TM in every way shape and form.
If the board forced him out, whey would they give him until August? Considering his house went on the market in March, he had probably been thinking about it sometime for before that so maybe February and considering that everyone here thinks Dave is such an arrogant, mean spirited person, if the board forced him out don’t you think he would have just resigned right away and not stuck it out? Your thoughts don’t really make sense
Wow. Knowing some truth as to the Haszes’ situation, it’s simply terrible the things you all are saying and assuming on here. Slander, smite, gossip, bitterness…. I read your earlier post about the plane crash, and to say that you are not heartless and do not wish to harm anyone, all I see in your posts on this site is harm towards your fellow man. Whatever happened to you all at Teen Mania, it is simply time to forgive and move on. The first one (between you and Teen Mania) to the cross wins. All the bitterness on this site is feeding things that are not only unGodly but are very pleasing to the devil. This site should sound an alarm to the forces of hate and bitterness, and it is not at all in line with the person and character of Jesus Christ, no matter how justified you may feel to malign Teen Mania and it’s associates. I am not associated with Teen Mania, and it’s shocking to read what I find on this site- not because Teen Mania may or may not have done something wrong to you, but because of how y’all have chosen to respond. If Teen Mania has rightfully wronged you, then the devil has won with the both of you for your unwillingness to forgive, pray, and bless, as Jesus instructs you.
All of this speculation and rumoring is really disgusting. And for those who have such hatred and contempt for another human being–no matter who it is, you are obviously not dealing with your own wounds but allowing them to become more infected.
*I’m not denouncing your pain, nor am I denying the facts. I’ve had plenty of my own. But hatred and slander are not signs of a healthy person, nor are they called for based on the premise of a change in another person’s career, of which you have ever known very much.
Brad, would you mind terribly much with stopping telling people how they should and shouldn’t feel? Also, who are you to say who is and isn’t “obviously dealing with wounds”?
I don’t know whether you realize it or not but your attitude can easily be interpreted and seen as condescending and trivializing. I would encourage you to stop and consider whether you are, in fact, coming across the exact same way that you say the RA camp are. (I’ll give you a hint: you do).
Straight up, neither you nor anyone else have the right to tell anyone posting on here how they should feel or when they should feel it. Anon@1:47, this goes for you too. “Just forgive already”? This is just as bad on trivializing the feelings and thoughts of other people. First of all, forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting and magically just being happy and not being upset anymore. You can forgive someone and still have a lot of emotions to deal with, and that is no less true when you’re dealing with people and an organization who have hurt you so very deeply as TMM/HA have hurt people.
Anonymous & Brad — This post simply presents some readily available facts about Teen Mania (Dave Hasz is unexpectedly leaving, we don’t know why, Teen Mania has told lies in the past, and Dave’s house is on the market). The conclusion is specifically, “Make of it what you will.”

That says a lot more about your mentality than it does about this website!

I really hope this can be a sort of wake-up call for Dave Hasz–we all know that he has the charisma, etc. and he was more of a leader to most of us as interns that Ron Luce by far.
Honestly, I am glad to see him go because of my TM experience and my conversations with Dave where he was unwilling to accept any possible problem with the internship. I wish absolutely no harm on him, etc. and wish him success in whatever he does next, but I really pray that his future includes an attempt at restoration and restitution in regards to the evil he did on behalf of TM.
Is it just plain ignorance or perfect proof of consuming bitterness that any post questioning how gossip and speculations about individuals; who, by the way, work for an organization none of you supposedly want anything to do with, is immediately removed from the discussion?
