Perusing the Honor Academy Facebook page last week, I came across this exchange between the HA and a potential intern.
Potential Intern: what r corporate test outs.
Honor Academy: Corporate test outs can apply to a few things. Everyone does corporate as part of learning how to discipline your mind, body, and Spirit. There are times where there are test outs to see where you are. For example, you must be physically fit to go on the Mountain LTE. For safety reasons if an intern doesn’t pass the test out they can’t go.
Potential Intern: ok thanks. i proble wouldnt beable to go on that cus ive had heart surgery in the passed
Honor Academy: Anything is possible Hannah! Don’t let it discourage you!
Potential Intern: ok thanks right now it kindof look inpossible im trying not to give up on going to the honor academy.
Does anybody else see something wrong with this advice? Oh, you have physical limitations due to a previous heart surgery? Don’t worry about it!
I would bet my house that if this person goes to the Honor Academy, they will be told that God will heal them of their heart condition if they’ll just show their faith by exercising with everybody else.
As a parent, is that how you would want your child with a severe medical condition to be treated??
