Now That I Am Out… An Apology

I know that while I was at Teen Mania, I judged, condemned and generally hurt other people. Sadly, I can’t remember every name, face and incident. To all of my fellow interns 97-99:

If I confronted you for something stupid, I want you to know I’m sorry.

If I shunned you, I’m sorry.

If I yelled at you or shot you with a paintball gun, I’m sorry.

If you were dismissed in 98-99, I’m sorry I sat on the Honor Council with absolutely zero grace and compassion. I would do things very differently now.

I did all of these things to many people and I wish I could make it right with each person. Please accept this apology and forgive me for acting out of an astonishing amount of ignorance and legalism. You are worth so much more than this and what I did or said to you in God’s name did not represent Him in the slightest. You are loved beyond measure.

We forgive you. So does God. You were a different person then. There is no need to recompense.

“We all like sheep…” There’s a crap-load of hurt all of us have inflicted on each other. Christ was crushed for it. No more guilt remains.

You’re new.
