Were You Financially Dismissed?

Were you financially dismissed? Do you know someone who was?

I’d like to talk to interns that were kicked out of the Honor Academy for inability to give their required donation.

I knew a guy once that was over $4000.00 behind in his finances. However this intern had a very important job on campus and TM could not afford to lose him. SO magically one day he checked and found that his account was perfectly balanced and he owed TM no money. Supposedly he had done no fundraising and had no idea where the money came from. The account was fully reconciled by TM.

However I did see many other interns leave because of financial dismissal.

things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm……..

I was dismissed over finances.

I knew I was falling behind and one day I was told to report to someones office to discuss my finances. The meeting consisted of them telling me I was costing the ministry money and basically making me feel really bad for not bringing in my share. At the time I did feel really bad about it but now I look back and realize, “I PAID you to work for for TM for 9 months, calling youth pastors everyday to recruit for your ATF’s and “I’m costing YOU money!?!”

I worked in the “Epicenter” (Sp?) as TC for one of the ATF events. I was dismissed right after my event was over. I left the ATF with my parents, and was given a week to raise the support I needed. That didn’t happen and the following week I received a box in the mail with all of my stuff from my dorm room.

I’m sure it’s still on the books somewhere that I owe them for postage 😉
