Is the Honor Academy brainwashing teens?
What really goes on during the one year internship program?
I spent 2 years in the Teen Mania Honor Academy. The first as an “intern” and the second as a “graduate intern.” The purpose of this blog is to share my experience with those considering entering the Honor Academy. I do not claim to speak for Teen Mania, I can only speak of my own experience. And, since it has been several years since my involvement with Teen Mania, I can now speak with some hindsight and maturity that I did not possess as an 18 and 19 year old kid.
Some will not like what I have to say about the Honor Academy program, and I do not claim that my experience is universal to everyone in the program. But I can guarantee that there is a large contingent of disillusioned Honor Academy alumni. These people have been habitually labeled as “rebellious” and “backslidden.” I am hear to share their side of the story so you can make your own decision.
